ROCHESTER — Delia Anne Keene, 91, Tippecanoe, passed away at 8:25 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, at Life Care Center of Rochester.

On June 18, 1926, Delia was born in Barron, Wis., to Edwin Clark and Pearl Evangeline Edwards Hall.

Delia and Glen Keene were married July 25, 1944, at the First Christian Church of Rochester. They shared 46 years of life’s adventures. Sadly, Glen passed away in 1990. Their union produced two beautiful daughters and three handsome sons. Three more generations have been added to the family tree.

As a farmer’s wife, Delia assisted with the daily chores of the home and the farm. For 25 years she worked at Uniroyal. She was also a cashier at the dime store in Warsaw and a caregiver for the elderly.

Her memberships include Tippecanoe Methodist Church, Good Sams Club and Tippecanoe Fireman’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, embroidering pillows and sewing clothing for her family and friends. Sitting down with a good book was a great way to relax. Her favorite authors were Danielle Steel and Debbie Macomber.

Delia is lovingly remembered by two daughters, Becky Hisey (husband Robert), Rochester, and Patricia Honeycutt (husband Royd), Tippecanoe; three sons: Robert Keene, Rochester; Michael Keene (wife Kimberly), New Orleans; and Steven Keene (wife Cindy), Warsaw; 14 grandchildren: Angela Cali (husband Tony), Timothy Hisey, Chad Hisey (wife Cari), Guidry Hisey, Jackie Wyatt (husband Mark), Randy Keene (wife Sarah), Rodney Honeycutt (wife Raelynne), Jeremy Honeycutt (wife Pam), Kristie Keene, Katelin Keene, Steven Keene (wife Kristi), Matthew Keene (wife Carrissa), Cheyenne Keene and Kendra Keene; eight great-grandchildren: Ian Cali, Noah Cali, Jameson Wyatt, Jazzen Wyatt, Madelyn Honeycutt, Morgan Honeycutt, Colton Honeycutt and Emily Honeycutt; two great-great-grandchildren, Hayden Honeycutt and Kilynn Keene; two sisters, Nora McMillen, McComb, Mich., and Joyce Hensley, Tippecanoe; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Delia in death were her husband, Glen; parents; and daughter-in-law, Alberta Keene.
