Delford "Del" Joseph Nelson, 46, of Austin, Texas, and formerly of Warsaw, died at 7:41 p.m. April 28, 2010, in Travis County, Texas.
He was born Oct. 22, 1963, in Warsaw, to Phillip Eugene and Judith Ann McKeigue Nelson.
He attended Warsaw Community High School and worked for Bertsch Vending Services, Warsaw, prior to moving to Fort Wayne. In 1998, he moved to Austin.

Surviving are his father, Phillip (and spouse Jeanie) Nelson, Bourbon; his mother, Judy McKeigue, North Webster; his grandmother, Vi Babcock, Warsaw; a brother, Christopher (and spouse Anne) Nelson, Indianapolis; a sister, Paige (and spouse John) Hubner, Warsaw; a stepsister, Renee (and spouse Joey) Rangel, Warsaw; two cousins, Josh and Kelly Huffman, Denver, Colo; Uncle Joe (and spouse Jan) McKeigue, Warsaw; and Aunt Jane (and spouse Miles) Perry, Oro Valley, Ariz.
A private memorial service will be at a later date.
No calling is planned.
