ROCHESTER – Delberta “Dee” Dickie Harper, 41, of Rochester, died in Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, shortly after admission on March 15, 2012.
She was born March 1, 1971, in Crown Point, N.M,, to Delbert D. and Lillie Dale Dickie. On Oct. 21, 1995, she married Donald L. Harper, who survives.
She graduated from Gallup (N.M.) High School in 1988. She was store manager for four years at Rochester GNC. Most recently she volunteered as a medical assistant at the Compassionate Health Care Center. She was a nursing student at Ivy Tech.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mellisha (and spouse Alan) Rensberger, Ashlee Harper, Brittany Card (and fiance Jordan O’Neill) and Jon-Tae Harper, all of Rochester; three sons, Elijah (and spouse Laci) Harper; Silver Lake; Patrick Card (and fiance Nickole Prince), Gladwin, Mich.; Adriel Harper, Rochester; her mother, Lillie Dickie Miller; three brothers: Elroy Dale, Wide Ruins, Ariz.; Delbur Dickie, Wabash; and Del D. Dickie, Rochester; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and grandmother.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Pastor Jim Dillinger officiating. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
