Delbert "Bud" Jesse Dippon, 90, of Milford, passed away July 1, 2010, at his residence.

He was born May 1, 1920, in Milford, to Jesse E. and Lenora Hahn Dippon. On Dec. 2, 1944, he married Leona Poe, who died May 6, 2009.

He spent his life farming on the family farm. He was a member of Milford United Methodist Church; a past master and a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge 418 Kosciusko; a 32nd Degree of the Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rites; a 25-year member of the Lions Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles 3704.

Surviving are a daughter, Judith Ann (and spouse Bruce) Cohen, Granger; a son, Jeffrey Alan Dippon, Milford; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Hilda Seybert, Fort Wayne, and Violet Ramsby, Goshen. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Lila Cripe, Erna Bray and Bernice Anglin.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, officiated by Pastor Eldon Stoltzfus. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
