Editor, Times-Union: I normally do not reply to other “letters to the editor,” feeling everyone has a right to feel and think what they may; However, when what they think calls someone’s character or motive in to question I feel compelled to do so!
With that said, I must reply to “Joesph Morehead Jr.” about his letter on 4-26-12 about Jon Hare to question.
#1. The last time I checked Mr. Hare has not received a single dime from either a union or the democratic party.
#2. I believe if we were to check the voting records of Yourself, Mrs. Kubacki & Mr. Hare. The “Real Republican” will stand true and clear! Having known Jon for the past 15 years, I know he has not cast 1 Blue Vote!
#3. For “folding” under union or Democratic pressure?
We can only look at his service over the past 22 years as a volunteer fire fighter to know if your house was burning down, he would be there to carry you out to safety!
In closing I have no problem with your support of another Republican candidate. Just please don’t make unfounded statements about someone who has been a life-long Republican, and sacrifice his spare time to help save your life if need be!
