Editor, Times-Union: I have observed many things in my 34 years of life, but some of the lowest things in life I have seen occurred in this past year. There have been many people who tried vehemently (and failed miserably) to launch a character assassination of Monica Boyer. I have known Monica for a few years and I can say, that even though we disagree on some issues, at least she has the passion to put herself out there and at least make her voice heard. All the people who disagreed with her were not interested in stepping out and disagreeing with her. Instead they came out and tried to attack her character in ways that would make Richard Nixon and Richard Daley proud. I will always admire a person who considers what is going on in this country more important than the latest news from Kim Kardashian or Honey Boo Boo. But there are a bunch of Inner Party people that want us to focus on those people. Thanks, but I’ll pass on them as well. I could come out and name names, but I am not going to do that, because they know who they are. My guess is some person is going to try to be a jerk and demand that I do so, but I’ll take the higher road in this instance because none of you have for a year. I can tell you this, the Proles outnumber the Inner Party and there isn’t a Room 101 big enough for all of us. The local media tried, and failed to stifle the liberty movement locally, just as the national media is trying, and will fail to stifle the liberty movement nationwide. And if you want to disagree with us fine, but come at us with more than snide comments, and sinister threats. As former Congressman (and should-be-president) Ron Paul once said, “An idea whose time has come, cannot be stopped by any army, or any government!” Quit telling me, it’s a sin to be free!
