Tell me, Mr. Obama, what was going through your mind as you took the oath of office? You must have rejoiced that this country now belonged to you and you could begin to dismantle this great nation, one freedom at a time. You successfully deceived so many people during the campaign. When you finally got them to believe that you would pay their mortgages and electric bills, you knew that you had them hook, line and sinker.
You always counted on those looking for a free lunch. How exciting it must have been to watch so many people drinking the Kool-Aid without so much as a whimper.
The moment the cheers stopped and the confetti was swept away, the real Barack Obama quickly emerged. You put your foot on our necks in a heartbeat. We had an immediate crisis which prompted the stimulus bill for job creation. That was your first effort at redistribution of wealth. It worked well in that you took plenty of our money for your special interest groups and other selective spending although no real jobs were created. Next in the power grab came the auto and banking industries. Now, under the guise of healthcare reform, our personal freedoms are at risk as well as one sixth of the American economy.
Mr. Obama, your philosophies are not the philosophies of this nation. We were founded on and believe in free enterprise, personal choice and an individual's right to succeed. You cut your teeth on social justice, a level playing field and dependence on government. You took the oath under false pretenses as you never intended to uphold the Constitution or protect our freedoms. I am an American and I love my country and believe in her greatness. How sad that you look at her with such disdain. And, just so you know, I never did like Kool-Aid.
