Debra Kay Starr, 53, Warsaw, died at 6:08 p.m. Dec. 20, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Sept. 18, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio, to William and Ella Faye Sexton Gaylor. On April 16, 1976, in Clintwood, Va., she married Paul D. Starr, who survives in Warsaw. She lived in Warsaw since 1977 after moving from Columbus, Ohio. She was a core finisher for Dalton Foundries for the past 26 years. She loved all children, her friends at Zales and her animals; a huge fan of “I Love Lucy”; was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Also surviving are two daughters, Debra Fay (and spouse Tom) Long, Bourbon, and Chris (and spouse Todd) Ryan, Silver Lake; a son, Bryan Andrew Starr, Warsaw; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Kyle Owens; a sister, Ella (and spouse Greenway) Starr, Warsaw, and a brother, Dwayne (and spouse Kimberly) Chaffin, Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Starr; and stepfather, Eugene Chaffin. Services are at noon today at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Larry Goss, Bourbon Bible Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
