Debra Jean Moon, 57, of Manchester, Tenn., and formerly of Warsaw, died at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 10, 2011, in Rensselaer. She was born March 13, 1954, in Dickenson County, Va., to Toye R. and Bell Zora Hashman Edwards. She was a homemaker and an avid participant in Native American gatherings. Surviving are a son, Joby (and spouse Carla) Popenfoose, Warsaw; two daughters, Tara Prater, Sidney, and Lara Popenfoose, Warsaw; a brother, Lester Booher, Warsaw; a sister, Jennifer Johnson, Florida; and eight grandchildren, including Kody, Asia and Austin Popenfoose, Joey and Madison Prater, Arissa, Ryan and Devin Caudill. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
