AUBURN - Debra J. Gasper Redinger, 58, of St. Joe, was carried home to her Lord by Angels Feb. 26, 2011, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born June 21, 1952, in Fort Wayne, to Kenneth and Verna Besser Gasper. Her father has passed away and her mother survives in Fort Wayne. On Jan. 31, 1970, in Fort Wayne, she married William "Bill" Redinger, who survives.
An x-ray technician, she worked at DeKalb Memorial Hospital and U.S. Health Networks, retiring in 2008. She was a graduate of New Haven High School, IPFW and Fort Wayne School of Radiology. She was a member of Auburn Alliance Church. Her hobby and passion was collecting angels.
Also surviving are a son, Matt (and spouse Tressa) Redinger, St. Joe; a daughter, Amanda (and spouse Clyde) Hankey, Butler; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean (and spouse Cork) Schuler and Ginger (and spouse Tom) Ervin, all of Fort Wayne, and Peggy (and spouse Russell) Grice, Columbus, Ohio; and a brother, Kenny Gasper, Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her father and twin sisters, that died in infancy.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 S. Center St., Auburn, with the Rev. Al Black officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Palestine Cemetery with Pastor Shaun DuFault officiating.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
