Debra "Deb" K. Kessler, 56, of Leesburg, died at 5:22 a.m. Nov. 22, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Feb. 25, 1952, in Monticello, to Danny and Rosie Newgent Mull.
She was an executive administrative assistant at DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. for 25 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, shopping, boating and loved her dogs, Joey and Tibby. She moved to Leesburg from Warsaw 21 years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Chastity Hamilton, Leesburg; a son, Justin Kessler (and fiance Vanessa Felger), North Webster; eight grandchildren: Kayla, Katelin, Clarissa, Zachary, Bailey, Cadin, Landen and Logen; her mother, Rosie Newgent, Monticello; three brothers, Robert (and spouse Deb) Newgent, Alan Newgent and Joe (and spouse Paula) Newgent, all of Monticello; two sisters, Janet (and spouse Larry) Peterson and Peggy German, both of Delphi; and a friend for 33 years, Denny Kessler, Syracuse. She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Mull, who died in 1956, and a stepdaughter, Tracy Kessler, who died June 6, 1993.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Doug West, chaplain at Kosciusko Community Hospital, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
