Debra Collier's School of Dance is kicking off a new season of dance with an open house Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Children and adults can enjoy free classes, performances by Class Act Dance Troupe, and visit vendors from other local family friendly businesses. Representatives from companies such as Bella Boutique for Kids, Mudlove Pottery, Curbside, The Island Weaver, On The Grow, The Crazy-Day Gourmet and The Bowling Alley will be available. “We have been a part of Warsaw for more than 35 years,” explained studio owner Deb Collier. “We are invested in our community and wanted an event that would bring together other local businesses that share the same commitment.” Children ages 3 to 5 can enjoy free ballet classes with the studio’s enchanted princess, jazz classes for ages 6 and up and a sample Dance Trance class for adults will be offered. Face painting and drawings for prizes from Tastefully Simple, Family Video, American Table, the dance school and more will be available. The Kosciusko County Sherriff’s Department also will be onsite distributing Child Identification Kits. Registration for the studio’s annual session is open for ages 1-1/2 to adult.
