The deadline for independent candidates to file for the Nov. 6 election for Warsaw, Winona Lake and Syracuse offices is July 2 at noon at the Kosciusko County Justice Building.
Ann Torpy, chief deputy, said no new candidates have filed for candidacy since the May 8 primary.
To qualify to file, candidates must be a registered voter and have a petition signed by residents in the district they wish to represent, Torpy said.
The Democrat, Libertarian and Republican parties for city offices have until June 30 at noon to conduct a caucus to select their candidates.
Towns such as North Webster, Milford, Etna Green, Sidney, Pierceton, Claypool, Silver Lake and Mentone have until August 1 at noon to file for independent candidacy at the justice building.
The justice building is at 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw.
