Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Republicans have established deadlines as they prepare to choose a replacement for Mentone Town Council member Terry Reed.
Anyone interested in serving on the council should contact one of three people: Republican Central Committee secretary Charlene Knispel or precinct committee members Kathryn Teel or Wayne Tombaugh.
Reed resigned unexpectedly last month.
Deadline for submitting applications is Monday.
A caucus will choose Reed's successor on Aug. 21, Knispel said.
