It's that time of the year again - Optimist Essay Contest.
The local deadline is noon Feb. 3.

Any application for the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club will be returned to Shari Benyousky at juxtapaused@gmail.com and she will respond to verify that she received it.
The contest is open to anyone under 19 in Kosciusko county as of Oct 1, 2022, who is enrolled in K-12.
The topic is "Who is an Everyday Hero that Brings out the Optimist in You?"
The essay must be an original essay with limited guidance from others. Essays must be between 700 to 800 words and there is a specific format provided. Other tips for format etc. are on the application form.
Submissions are capped at 20 contestants but usually have only around 10. There will be cash prizes provided for the top three finishers ( $200, $100, $50).
