Sacred Heart School gathered together for the National Day of Prayer in the gymnasium.
Father Phil DeVolder explained the meaning of the National Day of Prayer and the students listened as he read the prayer of the National Day. Following the national prayer, the school prayed the rosary together.
The rosary was a gift from the school’s parent group, The Home and School Association. The giant rosary was constructed out of helium balloons.
This spiritual experience is one of many the school has each week. Daily prayer is part of everyday life at Sacred Heart School.
