Justine Leigh Davis and Autum May Baldridge were in court Thursday morning for their initial hearings.
Davis is charged with dealing in methamphetamine in an amount less than 3 grams, a Class B felony, and possession of two or more chemical reagents with intent to manufacture, a Class D felony.
Davis was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail Dec. 31 when her apartment on Walter Way, Warsaw, was searched for meth.
When Kosciusko County Circuit Court Judge Rex Reed read the charges aloud in the courtroom, Davis shook her head in denial. She informed Judge Reed she wanted the court to appoint a lawyer for her.
Davis was issued $200,000 bond and at press time is in Kosciusko County Jail.
Baldridge sat in a line of defendants in Kosciusko County Superior Court I waiting for Judge Duane Huffer to read her rights. Baldridge is charged with two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, a Class B felony, for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a 15 year-old. Baldridge turned herself in Dec. 17 and was held on $20,000 bond.
Prior to leaving the courtroom with her mother, Baldridge informed Huffer she would employ her own lawyer.
