SYRACUSE - David T. "Uncle Dave" Anglemyer, 72, of Syracuse, died at 6:34 p.m. March 14, 2011, in IU Goshen Hospital, Goshen.
He was born March 16, 1938, in South Bend, to Guy Virgil and Thelma Inez Crum Anglemyer.
He graduated in 1957 from Lakeville High School and moved to Syracuse 30 years ago from Walkerton. He formerly worked at Sea Nymph & Commodore Corp., Syracuse. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of American Legion Post 223, Syracuse.
Surviving are a son, Tracy (and spouse Renee) Minnix, Syracuse; two sisters, Beth Ann (and spouse Lyle) Mayhew, Syracuse, and Linda Jensen, Apache Junction, Ariz. He was preceded in death by a brother.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with the Rev. Harlan Steffen officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
