David R. Hartzler, 89, of 416 W. Main St., Warsaw, died at 6:47 a.m. Oct. 30, 2007, at Heritage Park, Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 24, 1918, in Cicero, to Aaron and Charlotte Cornilieus Hartzler. On Nov. 27, 1944, in 1st Camp Lee, Va., he married Donna Deane Hudson, who preceded him in death in 1986. In 1989, in Warsaw, he married Patricia Williams, who survives.
He was a former employee of Kimble Glass and Zimmer. He was a member of the Warsaw Elks and American Legion Post 49. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the World War II Pacific Theater.
Also surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Donald (Becky) Borders, Gallatin, Tenn.; Gretchen Elliott, Warsaw; and Mrs. Winston (Tracy) Tucker, Gallatin, Tenn; a son, Ronald Robert Hartzler, White Pigeon, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake, with Pastor Jim MacDonald officiating.
