David Orval Taylor

David Orval Taylor, 76, Warsaw, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, in the care of Parkview Kosciusko Hospital of Warsaw.
He was born to Lorene Tuma and Orval Taylor on Jan. 18, 1949, in Lincoln, Neb. He served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1974 on an aircraft carrier, the U.S. Ranger.
David married Joanne Marie Kolbe-Taylor on Nov. 18, 1995; she survives.
David’s life will be celebrated with a service at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Rob Neel of Pierceton Presbyterian Church. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, with military rites conducted by members of the Warsaw American Legion Post #49, V.F.W. #1126 and active duty members of the Navy Honor Guard as well as members of the Revolutionary War Reenactment Honor Guard.
