David Lee Rapp, 73, of Kokomo, died at 8:40 p.m. May 19, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Jan. 8, 1937, in Warsaw, to Tim and Elizabeth Huffman Lindsay. On April 29, 1962, in Bourbon, he married Linda Helene Reichert, who died March 16, 2007. He then married Dorothy Healton on Nov. 22, 2008, who survives.
He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1955, then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in Hawaii; after getting an honorable discharge he was sergeant in the reserves. He retired in 1992 from Chrysler where he was a supervisor of the assembly line. He was a member of Southdowns Wesleyan Church; American Legion Post 777; United Auto Workers 685; and the Sheriffs Association.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kalene (and spouse David) Skiles, and Krista (and spouse Don) Spall, all of Kokomo; a stepson, Mike (and spouse Brenda) Pressey, Galveston; four grandchildren; a sister, Linda (and spouse Garry) Stonebraker, Charleston, S.C.; and a brother, Greg (and spouse Ronda) Lindsay, Kokomo.
