FORT WAYNE – David D. Platt, 78, of Fort Wayne, and Winona Lake, died Sept. 3, 2012, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Surviving are his wife, Dana Wichern; two sons, Michael (and spouse Julie) Platt and Jay (and spouse Bobbie) Platt; a daughter, Robin (and spouse Doug) Stellhorn; two stepdaughters, Angela (and spouse Dominick) King McCann and Wendy (and spouse Shawn) Wichern Eckelbarger; six grandsons; a step-grandson; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; and two brothers, James (and spouse Maryann) Platt and Robert (and spouse Sandy) Platt.
A memorial service was Sept. 8 at Plymouth Congregational Church, Fort Wayne.
