ROCHESTER – David Bruce Crull, 57, passed away at 3:46 a.m. June 1, 2011, in St. Vincent’s Heart Center, Indianapolis. He was born Dec. 31, 1953, in Marshall County, to Richard and Lois Crabbs Crull. Growing up he shared his childhood with two sisters, Lesa and Linda, and a brother, Scott. David, a proud Caverlier, graduated from Culver Community High School in 1973. With a great love for working with his hands and power tools, his favorite class was industrial arts. Following high school, he joined the family business, Crull Redi-Mix of Leiter’s Ford. He served in the capacity of Redi-Mix Delivery Professional, being certified. He also was certified with the American Concrete Institute. He enjoyed making special deliveries around north central Indiana to all of his customers. For over two decades he was a loyal member of the Aubbeenaubbee Township Fire Department. He enjoyed social activities and made many friends with the Fulton County Historical Power from the Past. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Lois Crull, Leiters Ford; two sisters, Lesa Gagnon (and spouse John), Akron, and their three sons, Mark, Brandon and Jamie Gagnon, and Linda (and spouse Tom) Morton, Argos; a brother, Scott (and spouse Jackie) Crull, West DeMoine, Iowa, and their daughter, Leland Crull; a companion, “Nettie” L. Treble, Elkhart; seven stepchildren: Nancy (and spouse Jon) Smith, Henderson, Nev.; Theresa (and spouse Joe) Bowers, Rochester; Penny Fisher, Marion; Mark (and spouse Billie) Shaffer, Peru; Michelle (and spouse Greg) Britt, Burrows; Michael (and spouse Jennifer) Shaffer, Rupert, Idaho; and Jayson (and spouse Tabitha) Shaffer, Leiters Ford. He was preceded in death by his father, and a niece, Amanda May Gagnon. Services will be at noon today at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Father Frank Kilcline officiating. The Aubbeenaubbee Township Fire Department will accord an honors service.
