David Brian Smith, 54, of Warsaw, died at 10:15 p.m. May 19, 2010, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Sept. 7, 1955, in Wabash, to John Frederick and Shirley Powell Smith. On Jan. 9, 1973, in Somerset, he married Christine Yoder, who survives.
He was a self-employed construction worker and a farmer. He was a loving husband and father and a super loving grandpa.
Also surviving are a son, C. Brian (and spouse Kellie) Smith, Carbondale, Colo.; a daughter, Pepper (and spouse Delbur) Dickie, Wabash; five grandchildren: Jessica, Nicholas, Christian, TJ and Krys-Del; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Richard Kitt, Fort Myers, Fla.; a sister, Pam Winger (and spouse Dean) Sullivan, Galveston. He was preceded in death by his father, John Frederick Smith.
Burial will be at a later date.
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
