ROCHESTER – Daughton Dancy, 94, of Rochester, died at 4:54 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
He was born July 7, 1924, in Springdale, N.C., to Grover Cleveland and Lutisha Sizemore Dancy. He was married to Wilma C. Cole in 1947; she died in 1953. He married Evelyn M. Willey in 1958; she died in 1976.
Daughton served with the United States Army during World War II.
A celebration of his life will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Military honors will be conducted by the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honors Team. Interment will be in the Leiters Ford IOOF Cemetery.
