Darrell J. Wilson, 58, of 755 Candlelight Court, Fort Wayne, died of natural causes at 4:12 p.m. June 9, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Dec. 30, 1952, in St. Joseph County, to Ralph Charles and Bernice Catherine Miller Wilson. He was married Oct. 3, 1992, to Kathy Collins, who survives.
He was a resident of Etna Green and Columbia City before moving to Fort Wayne. He was a 1972 graduate of Riley High School and a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, both in South Bend.
He was a CNC machinist at Symmetry Medical, Warsaw. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.
Also surviving are three daughters: Michelle (and spouse Dean) Ousley, Bourbon; Patricia (and spouse Brandon) Gall, Milford; and Crystal (and spouse Samuel) Wallington, Kalona, Iowa; two sons, Nicholas Wilson, Fort Wayne, and Brian Wilson, South Bend; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Bernice Wilson, South Bend; three brothers, Denny (and spouse Joan) Wilson, Mishawaka; Doug (and spouse Patricia) Wilson Traverse City, Mich.; and Duane Wilson, Osceola; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Deaton-Clemons Funeral Home, Bourbon. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon, with military honors.
