Kosciusko County’s Agnes Pruyn Chapman Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is holding a genealogy workshop from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in lower level rooms A-B of the Warsaw Public Library, 310 E. Main Street. Members of Agnes Pruyn Chapman Chapter and Charlotte Blair, DAR State Registrar, will give information about DAR and its resources. These are available for assisting individuals in family history research. The DAR is a service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. DAR membership is open to any woman 18 years of age who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. If you know, or think it’s possible, that you have a patriot, there is help for researching your ancestors. For more information on the workshop or DAR membership, contact Kathy Gawthrop at 574-527-2674.
