Danny D. Gregory, Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Warsaw, passed away March 4, 2017, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital at the age of 75. He was born June 29, 1941, in South Whitley, to Preston and Dorothy Kennedy Gregory. He was married to Roberta Gregory, who survives. Danny, along with his wife, Roberta, have owned and operated Subway restaurants in Warsaw, Milford, Nappanee, Syracuse, Bremen and North Webster for the past 25 years. He has also owned several race car teams and was recently inducted into the Warsaw Speedway Hall of Fame. He was also an active supporter of Our Father’s House, Warsaw, and always wanted to give business advice to those that wanted to start their own business. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Roberta Gregory; daughter, DeeDee (husband Alex) Moseley, Venice, Fla.; sister, Judy Vickers, Fort Wayne; and two grandsons, Darren and Carter Moseley, both of Venice. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Darren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Rob Seewald.
