Daniel Roman Katzer, 23, passed away March 16, 2014, at Barbee Lake, Warsaw. He was born Oct. 17, 1990, in Warsaw, to Mark and Patricia Seaman Katzer. He was a 2009 graduate of Wawasee High School, Syracuse, and a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. He was a concrete finisher for Pioneer Masonry. He enjoyed outdoor activities including BMX riding, snow boarding, hunting and fishing. He was fun to be around and had a huge sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was looking forward to building up his skill levels while working in the family business, Pioneer Masonry, with his dad and brothers. His faith base was with Living Faith Fellowship. Surviving are five brothers: Jeff (and spouse Cheryl) and David, Nathan and Michael Katzer, all of Milford; and Joel (and spouse Kelley) Katzer, Warsaw; two sisters, Grace (and spouse Andrew) Suranyi, Milford, and Moriah (and spouse Nathan) West, Elkhart; 10 nieces and nephews; grandparents Roman and Joy Katzer, Eagle River, Wis.; aunts and uncles; and 22 cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Paul Seaman, who died Dec. 14, 2012, and his grandmother, Sylvia Seaman, who died Jan. 21, 2013. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Syracuse Cemetery with Lead Pastor Ben Stoffel, Living Faith Fellowship, officiating.
