NORTH WEBSTER – Daniel List, 56, Syracuse, passed away May 25, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 21, 1957, in Greenfield, Mass., to Thomas and Betty Lauterbach List. On Aug. 8, 1980, he married Stacy Rogers, who preceded him in death in 2009. He was a self-employed carpenter and lived in the Syracuse and Wawasee area most of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed boating, hunting and all outdoor activities. He was a member of the North Webster American Legion, Syracuse Eagles, E Clampus Vitas and the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation. He was a compassionate brother, friend and uncle. Surviving are five brothers: Tom (and spouse Suzanne Statler) and Bill (and spouse Mary) List, all of Port Costa, Calif.; Pat (and spouse Candy) List, Hayesville, N.C.; Bob (and spouse Ida) List, Leesburg; and Adam (and spouse Liz) List, North Webster; a sister, Betsy (and spouse Mike) Hoffman, North Webster; and many nieces and nephews. A social gathering will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. June 4 at the North Webster Americal Legion Pavillion.
