SYRACUSE — Daniel Griffith, 64, Cromwell, passed away Feb. 3, 2017, at Kosciusko Community Hospital as a result of complications from a stroke. He was born Oct. 10, 1952, in Fort Wayne, to Laurence and Rosemary Schirmeyer Griffith, who both preceded him in death. On Dec. 2, 1995, he married Richele Eicher, who survives. He was a lifelong Syracuse-Wawasee area resident. He was co-owner of Griffith's Wawasee Marina on Lake Wawasee, where he enjoyed spending much of his life. He is survived by his wife, Richele Griffith, Cromwell; two sisters, Lisa (spouse Dan) Mikolajczak, Syracuse, and Andrea (spouse Mark) Stinson, Anderson; a brother, Terry (spouse Karen) Griffith, Syracuse; and a sister-in-law, Lisa (spouse Brent) Kornhaus, Tennessee. Many nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Eastlund Funeral Home, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating.
