SYRACUSE – Daniel Christopher “Dan” Shock, 45, of Goshen, passed away at 2:50 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born on June 13, 1974, in West Palm Beach, Fla., to Gregory Charles and Holly Ann Britton Shock.
He lived most of his life in the Syracuse area except for a few years in Florida and attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He was employed at Patrick Industries in Syracuse.
He is survived by son, Malachi Shock, of Silver Lake; parents, Greg and Sandy Shock, of Syracuse; two sisters: Tameche (Michael) Sandel and Diandra (Aaron) Jimenez; two brothers: Eli (Rachel) Shock and Gregory Shock; paternal grandmother, Nancy Diane Shock, of Syracuse; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and mother, Holly Johnson; along with extended family in Florida.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind 15, Warsaw. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
