PLYMOUTH — Daniel Arnold, 65, Wakarusa, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, in Miller’s Merry Manor nursing home, Wakarusa.

Dan was born in Plymouth on July 19, 1952, to the late Howard C. Arnold and Faye A. Fisher Arnold.

On May 1, 1976, Dan married Beth A. Wenino in Plymouth.

He was a 1970 graduate of LaVille High School. Dan worked and retired from Pregis Corp., Plymouth, as a supervisor.

Dan had been in failing health since 2015. Dan always wanted and did handle each situation with his head held high. His wife and daughter were very proud of him.

Dan is survived by his wife, Beth M., and by his daughter, Amanda M.A. Arnold, Bristol. Also surviving are his brother, David D. (and Peggy) Arnold, Warsaw, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death were his parents; and sisters, Rebecca and infant sister Cindy.

Dan has a very special friend that is also surviving him. She was his four-legged friend. Dan named her Maggie Mae. Maggie gave Dan hours of enjoyment. He enjoyed taking her on walks and watching her play with her ball. It was a perfect match from heaven.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at VanGilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in New Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Beth and Mandy would like to thank every person Dan received help from along the way. There are numerous people, too many to mention. May God bless all of you.

Deaton-Clemens and Van Gilder funeral homes are privileged to be entrusted with arranging the services.
