No definitive cause has been determined for a fire at a local warehouse early Tuesday morning.
Around 1:56 a.m. Tuesday, fire crews were called to a fire alarm at North Supply, a Sprint warehouse on Crystal Lake Road. Approximately 60 firefighters fought the blaze, which was under control by 3:21 a.m.
According to Tory Billard, a Sprint representative from Kansas City, Kan., the fire started in a battery-charging area of the warehouse where material handling equipment is stored.
Twelve sprinklers went off in the building, and the damage from the fire was minimal, although Billard could not place a dollar amount on the damage.
No inventory was damaged in the blaze, Billard said.
The warehouse returned to operation around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
