Dr. Emily Marie Daligga and Dr. Matthew Taylor Howard were married Aug. 27, 2010, on the rocky shores of Lake Superior.
The bride's parents are Bonnie Daligga, Dublin, Ireland, and R. Douglas Daligga, Okemos, Mich. The groom's parents are Thom and Zoe Howard, Warsaw.
The bride is an internist and pediatrician at Fairview Health Services, Zumbrota, Minn. She graduated from Berkley High School in 1997, Michigan State University in 2001, and Case Western Reserve Medical School in 2005. She completed her residency in internal medicine/pediatrics at Indiana University Medical Center.
The groom is a hematopathologist at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1997, Purdue University in 2001, and Case Western Reserve Medical School in 2005. He completed a residency in pathology at the Cleveland Clinic and a fellowship in hematopathology at Mayo Clinic.
