ROCHESTER – Dale K. Petersen, 89, of Rochester, died Nov. 15, 2012, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He was born Sept. 28, 1923, in Chicago, to Sigurd Richard and Hazel Kinsey Petersen. His wife, Eileen, survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Marlene (and spouse Gary) Nellans, Winamac, and Geraldine Petersen, Milwaukee, Wis.; four sons: Marvin (and spouse Mary) Petersen, Wickenburg, Ariz.; Steven Petersen; Mishawaka; Ted (and spouse Alma) Halterman, Rochester; and Lynn (and spouse Mary Kay) Halterman, Charlotte, N.C. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery with military graveside rites by members of Fulton County Honor Guard and the Scott Air Force Base Honor Guard.
