Pictured is Jason Rivich, a local teacher, and one of the ‘famous’ dads reading at last year’s annual ‘Dads Reach Out and Read’ program. This year’s event will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Warsaw Community Public Library where kids can listen to area ‘famous’ dads reading their favorite children’s books. Kosciusko Literacy Services and the Warsaw Community Public Library sponsor this event. Every child who attends will receive a free book. Families participating in the BABE program will receive a BABE coupon for attending. In addition, in honor of the 20th anniversary of KLS, one child will have his or her name drawn to receive 20 books. Celebrate the joy of reading. Bring your kids and the neighbors kids, too. Come and hear ‘Dads ROAR.’ KLS is a United Way agency. Call 574-267-5380 or visit at the Gateway Education Center, 201 N. Union St., Warsaw.
