SAWYER – Cynthia Ruthann Sawyer, 51, of Syracuse, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 1:30 a.m. Aug. 12, 2013, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born July 26, 1962, in South Bend, to Joseph and Laverne Duncan Linville. On July 26, 1980, at the First Church of God, Nappanee, she married Joel Sawyer, who survives. She was a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of NorthWood High School and a homemaker. Also surviving are a daughter, Stephany (and spouse Josh) Satoski, Syracuse; two sons, Joseph Sawyer, Nappanee, and Andrew (and spouse Alithia) Sawyer, Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; her mother, Laverne Linville, Nappanee; and two brothers, Ron (and spouse Nancy) Linville, Nappanee, and Dennis (Teresa) Linville, both of Nappanee. She was preceded in death by her father. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
