AKRON – The deadline for the Akron Las Donas Club-sponsored Penny-a-Vote Cute Baby Contest is Friday. The contest is open to children 3 years and younger on July 4. Voting will take place at the Akron Lake City Bank between Monday and July 3. Winners will be announced July 3 at the Akron Community Center at approximately 6:45 p.m. The entry form, two non-returnable pictures no larger than 4x6, and a $1 entry fee can be mailed or dropped off at 506 S.
