William J. Cusick, 45, of 5120 N. Village Drive, Warsaw, was sentenced to two years in prison Thursday after being convicted of voyeurism.
Cusick was arrested Feb. 28 after he admitted to installing a pin-hole style video camera in the attic of a residence on Chapman Lake during a satellite system installation. The family at the residence told Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department Detective John Hart they heard a noise in the cold air return vent above the bedroom in the newly built residence and called the contractor to investigate.
When the contractor looked into the noise, he discovered the video camera.
Cusick pleaded guilty after reaching a plea agreement.
Judge Rex L. Reed accepted the plea agreement and suspended the final 20 months of the sentence, which Cusick will serve on probation.
