Though the building is well on its way to being done, Culver's held its official groundbreaking Friday afternoon.
Culver's CEO, Craig Culver, made the trip to Warsaw to help owner/operator Matt Lennington and his wife, Melissa, celebrate the upcoming opening of the restaurant.
"The community is really excited to have Culver's as a part of it," said Mark Dobson, president of the Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce.
"People mirror the leadership, and (Matt) has great enthusiasm, energy and excitement," said Culver.
The Warsaw location will be one of more than 420 in 18 states. Culver's is based out of Wisconsin but has grown across the country. In 2012 it is expected to open stores for the first time in South Carolina and Utah.The Warsaw location is expected to open at the end of October and will be the 19th one in Indiana.
Warsaw City Councilman Joe Thallemer said people he talks to are always asking when the Warsaw location off U.S. 30 in front of Menards will open.
