They’ve called us unwashed deplorables and some sort of treasonous bastards. They have a new mantra today. They now feel we are domestic terrorists. They play with these terms as though it’s some sort of civil game, something we just bounce around, trying to figure out where our values really lie, never thinking about the real world impact of their accusations.
After they’ve stolen the election, they continue to draft the will out of everyone who believes this last election was legitimate. I’m sorry, but I think we all know this was a stolen election. How do we accept this travesty of justice? The other side tells us to calm down. They are starting a commission to investigate all us deplorable people who feel this country is worth saving. You see, they are trying to make us out to be domestic terrorists. They fence off our capitol. They try to persuade us that there are dangerous factions in our society that want to overthrow our government. I’ve never seen a government so afraid of the people they govern.
We are in troubled times. I’ve spoken about this socialist beast that is now manipulating our laws. The new president has signed over 25 executive orders and 40 executive actions at the time I’m writing this letter. This is not what our founders envisioned. This carefree impulsion to impose their beliefs on the general public without the consent of the congress may end up to become something they had not envisioned. Or maybe it is.
I’m certain that I’m part of this cult they define as Trump followers. They can hunt me down, seek me out, try to destroy everything I stand for. They can make their lies and try to persuade the public that my values and trust in Donald Trump are misguided. They can’t, because I’m now in a cult!
I’d like to thank my “letters” colleague for expressing her thoughts. My expression of revolutionary activism are not some sort of off-handed idea. The left had cancelled our president’s speech, they stopped the publication of a senator’s book, they’ve managed to close down a social media platform. I don’t know when they’ll shut down this paper, but I’m almost sure it will happen. I respect your naive approach to what is going on, but it is going on.
I would imagine this cancel culture and elimination of free speech seems to be some sort of misplaced expression of social values. I’m so tired of social justice, racism and political correctness I could throw up. I’ve worked with my black brothers, shared our secrets and wishes. I’ve held them when things got tough, as they did me. Maybe if our politicians and all the culture warriors who seem to have an opinion about the collaboration of races might want to spend a couple of days in a fox hole with someone who doesn’t look like them.
