CTB Inc. in Milford is a pacesetter for United Way’s 2014 fundraising campaign. The Milford farm and feed product company raised $31,325 last year, contributed by 170 people, and hopes its 190 contributors this year can give $34,500, said Special Projects Manager Bill Roper. A corporate gift could bring it up to $55,000, he added, also noting that this is the company’s second time as a pacesetter in its 15 to 20 years of participating. Fundraising activities this year include an all-employee catered lunch Oct. 8, dodgeball Oct. 15 and prize raffles for employees attending a meeting and contributing to the campaign.
