Cruz Has No Conscience

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:
It’s hard to believe as to just how and to what lengths some people will do or go to get elected to a public office. First there was the Kasich-Cruz fiasco, now we have Cruz-Fiorina. Is there no conscience or what lows Mr. Cruz will stoop to in order to get elected to be president?
He and Kasich cut a deal where Kasich would not run in Indiana so Kasich voters would vote for Cruz. I have to wonder what he promised Kasich to made this deal? Vice presidency? Boy, was that short lived. When Cruz found out how disasterous and distasteful this deal was by the voters in the eastern states, he changed his tune really quick.
This man brags as to how he is a constitution scholar, an attorney that should know better. But his true colors are now showing just as they did and have in the U.S. Senate. As the wind blows so does Mr. Cruz.
Mr. Cruz says Fiorina will be a great vice president. She will do for this country as she did for HP, like I hope not. She as a CEO of HP came close to bankrupting this company. She paid $25 billion for Compaq, the merger went sour, 30,000 employees were laid off to help stave off creditors. In fact, in 2005 she was fired by the HP's board of directors from being HP’s COE. Another person was put in charge, the company started to show some profit and then he, too, was fired. Today the present CO is working hard to save this company. This company made some of the finest and best test equipment in the world and to lose this equipment would be a real lost to the tech companies, who depend on very good and reliable test gear.
But then there is another question about the Cruz-Fiorina deal that is more troubling. There is a question of why did one of Cruz’s super PACs (Keep The Promise 1) give Fiorina’s election campaign $500,000. According to the campaign laws, this is illegal to do so. Could this money be to keep someone quiet? Because, as it has been widely reported, to keep a sexual scandal between Cruz and Fiorina’s campaign manager from the public? It is widely reported, on the Internet, the fact that Mr. Cruz had more or less promised Fiorina his pick for vice president after the first debates.
Mr. Editor, as of at this time, search and search as I can, I can’t find a campaign ruling on this illegal campaign money, but then there are sure an awful lot of reports on all of the rest.
