Editor, Times-Union: We have heard as to how Cruz is a Constitution scholar and as to how he is anti-establishment. But is he really or is he putting up a front? Let’s do a little review starting with the debates. Mr. Rubio took Cruz on about his senate record. We all heard Cruz deny Mr. Rubio’s attack. But wait, just a minute, I heard as well as I watched the immigration proceedings as they took place on the senate floor, the votes, the amendments that were put forth. Mr. Rubio was right on all counts. Then there is the photo of Mrs. Trump, Cruz says. He didn’t do it. If he didn’t, then how does he explain the fact that two weeks before the Utah voting, a Cruz spokesperson, who was a woman, was on Fox news channel saying the Cruz campaign committee was considering using it, just as they did. Then there was Ben Carson, and what happened in Iowa, again Cruz denied it. His campaign manager finally admitted that he did it. How can this be when Cruz said he makes the final decisions? If, Mr. Editor, the above is not enough to make people think, then there is this: Mr. Cruz’s wife, Heidi, not only belongs to The Council on Foreign Relations and a Neoconservative, but is a member of a committee called “The NAU Committee” (short for North American Union). A committee with the sole agenda of doing away with all the borders between The U.S.A, Mexico and Canada. (Go to Google, input Heidi Cruz cfr). Under The NAU, the Constitution becomes null and void, all work health and safety laws are voided, there are no more labor unions or labor contracts, no pensions, no health insurance, no 401ks. No restrictions as to where one may travel, any place at any time. Under the NAU, a company can go to Mexico, hire as many people as they want, brings those people back to Indiana, and replace as many regular employees with those from Mexico at the lowest possible wages at no insurance, no pension, no 401ks, no termination pay. At the same time, the regular former employees have lost their pensions, 401ks, and insurance pay for all can be confiscated by the company. Sounds far fetch? Sounds as if it can’t be true? It can’t happen? Think again, people, it is all true! (Cruz is on public record as being anti-union.) Cruz says if he is president he wants to appoint Supreme Court judges, and if he appoints judges that are all neoconservatives and council members, they can well rule the borders are to be no more. And who is to say they won’t? Consider this, it was the Supreme Court judges who made same-sex marriages possible. Transgender people can use any public restroom, not the one for the sex they really are, but the one they think they are. Then how about all the abortion rulings? Every anti-religious law that is now on the books has been made by the Supreme Court judges. All in violation of The Constitution! Marvin Gunter Warsaw, via email
