A large crowd is expected next week when Barbee Lakes Conservancy District hosts a public hearing in North Webster.
The meeting at the gymnasium of North Webster Elementary is set for 6 p.m. May 27.
An updated facilities plan will be unveiled and representatives of H.J. Umbaugh and Associates will discuss finances and possible rate structures for the proposed sewer system that would serve about 1,700 homes.
Time will then be permitted for public comment, said conservancy district chairman John Weiler.
"We look for a big crowd. That's the reason we're having it at the gymnasium," Weiler said.
Various rate structures will be proposed based on different levels of grant money available and various payback periods, Weiler said.
