An early morning fire destroyed the Cripplegate Cafe near Oswego on Armstrong Road today.
The Leesburg Fire Department received the 911 call from an alarm company that supplied the cafe with an alarm system.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the building engulfed in flames.
Leesburg Fire Department Assistant Chief Terry Eppley said the fire continued as a normal blaze as the firemen worked to put water on it quickly. He said they had the fire under control within 30-45 minutes.
