The Kosciusko County Crime Stoppers are asking for the community’s assistance in locating a wanted individual. An arrest warrant was issued for Matthew Gene Wagoner, 29, Syracuse, on Tuesday. Wagoner is wanted on several felony charges including one count of neglect of a dependant resulting in serious bodily injury; one count of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated causing death; three counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury; and one count of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a minor passenger in the vehicle. Wagoner is described as being 6 feet, 230 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos on his left shoulder showing a large skull with three smaller skulls underneath, and on his right arm a tattoo of a female riding a bomb and a brain wearing a gas mask. Wagoner is wanted for his involvement in a fatal North Webster accident in July. The crash killed Jeremy Valentine, 39, Wynnewood, Pa., and injured five other passengers. Through the execution of search warrants, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department obtained a blood sample from Wagoner at Parkview following the accident and results showed he had methamphetamine in his system at the time of the crash.
