NIPSCO customers south of Warsaw reported loss of power Saturday morning after a mini-van collided with a utility pole.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Jonathan D. Shepherd, 30, of Roann, was southbound on Ind. 15 in the area of CR 300S when due to inclement weather his 2004 Dodge Caravan went off the road and struck a NIPSCO utility pole. No injuries were reported from the accident.
The exact number of households that lost power due to the wreck wasn’t available as a call to a NIPSCO representative wasn’t returned as of press time.
