LEESBURG – A Fort Wayne man is facing charges after police allege he ran a man off the road.

Swa Hit, 26, is charged with aggressive driving, criminal reckless causing severe bodily injury and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

Hit is in the Kosciusko County Jail on a prosecutorial hold.

Police say Hit drove his car into another car that was trying to pass him.

A Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department officer was following two vehicles, west on Armstrong Road, east of Leesburg, when he saw a white Camry attempt to pass a green Honda in a no-passing lane and cut the Honda off, according to a report from the KCSD. The Honda swerved left and smashed into the Camry.

Officers took blood tests from both men.

Both cars had three passengers in them.

A Do Ra Hin, 25, the driver of the Camry, was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital with injuries to his elbow and lower arm. One of his passengers, Oh Mor, 37, Fort Wayne, was taken to Lutheran Hospital with pain to his entire body. There were no other injuries

KCSD Lt. Don Wiesehan said the drivers knew each other and were driving to Maple Leaf Farms where they worked. “It started out as game and then it got serious,” he said.
